Prepare to take measurements
If you are using an Xetender, separate the Xtender form the Test Tube. The Test Tube is specifically designed to capture the wound cavity created by the bullet. This will allow detailed measurements to be made of the wound cavity and will allow the results from various wound cavities to be compared on an even basis.
The following is a list of tools you will need to work with the Bullet Test Tube:
Graduated container of water
Utility knife
Tape measure
Test Tube Splitter
